Lightweight mullite shaped oblique-hole discs are fabricated from high-grade synthetic mullite refractory matrices. Formed via high-pressure pressing or precision gel casting followed by high-temperature sintering, the round perimeter and angled bore channels are precisely CNC-machined to exacting angle and dimensional standards.
In vacuum heat-treating furnaces, controlled-atmosphere furnaces, and roller kilns, probes and burner nozzles frequently enter the chamber at specified tilt angles. Field-drilling angled holes often causes localized stress concentration and thermal cracking. Our pre-engineered oblique-hole discs relieve thermal stresses and maintain superior thermal sealing across harsh thermal cycles.
