Clay brick is a refractory product with Al₂O₃ content of 30-48%, made using calcined clay clinker as aggregate and refractory plastic clay as binder. For intricate kiln zones—such as roof corners, burner surroundings, inspection ports, irregular flue passages, and heavy load arch supports—standard bricks cannot provide adequate sealing and structural stability.
Nuovi Refractory operates dedicated mold tooling and specialized pressing facilities, delivering one-stop custom solutions for special-shaped refractories. Each custom geometry is crafted to minimize joint gaps, eliminate thermal bridges, and prolong the overall campaign life of industrial furnaces.
